CountHit.com provides a timer tool (referred to as “the Service”) where users can select counters with different durations (e.g., 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.). Once a timer is selected and the “Start Count Hit” button is pressed:
- The timer will start counting down.
- If the timer runs out while the user is on a different screen, an audible notification will be issued seven times at intervals to inform the user.
- When the user returns to the site, the associated YouTube video will open and play in an iframe.
2. User Accounts
To use custom timers and select the videos for post-timer display, users can create an account. The selected videos must adhere to the following beneficial content categories:
- Autos & Vehicles
- Education
- How-To
- People
- Pets & Animals
- Science & Technology
- Travel
2.1 Content Guidelines
To ensure break times are productive and engaging, users must only select videos that are informative and minimally distracting. Inappropriate content such as illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, inciting violence, or offensive material is strictly prohibited.
3. System Requirements
For optimal use of CountHit.com:
- Users must use browsers that support audible notifications.
- Browsers must also support iframes to display embedded video content.
CountHit.com is not responsible for technical issues if the user’s browser or device does not meet these requirements.
4. Liability and Disclaimers
4.1 Third-Party Content
The YouTube videos embedded within our Service are governed by YouTube’s own terms and conditions and privacy policies. CountHit.com has no affiliation with YouTube and cannot be held responsible for YouTube’s content, privacy practices, or terms of service.
4.2 Disclaimer of Errors
CountHit.com is not liable for:
- Errors in the accuracy or functionality of the timers.
- Failures in audible notifications or any related alerting mechanisms.
- Failures in launching or displaying YouTube videos when the timer ends.
4.3 Disclaimer of Legal Responsibility
